What a tally counter is good for

It's the digital version of the handheld clicker ushers and doormen use: perfect for counting people entering an event to stay within capacity, taking warehouse inventory, keeping score in a card game, tracking laps around a running track, or counting stitches and rows while knitting. You can create a separate counter for each thing you're tracking (say, "Adults" and "Kids") and update them side by side: just tap a counter's chip to make it the active one.

Keyboard shortcuts and automatic saving

When you need to count fast without looking at the screen, use your keyboard: the spacebar or the up arrow adds 1, and the down arrow subtracts 1. Every change is saved instantly to your browser's local storage (localStorage), so you can close the page and find all your values right where you left them next time โ€” even with no internet connection.
