Hangman
Guess the hidden word one letter at a time before the drawing is complete: pick a category and click the letters on the keyboard.
How to play hangman
The computer picks a word from the category you selected and shows it as a row of blanks, one per letter. You guess one letter at a time by clicking the on-screen keyboard (or pressing a key on your physical keyboard): if the letter is in the word it appears in the right spot; if not, you lose a life and one more piece of the drawing is added. You get 6 lives, head, body, two arms, and two legs. Guess the whole word before the figure is complete and you win the round.
A trick to win more often
In English, the most common letters are E, T, A, O, I, and N, followed by consonants like S, R, H, L, and D, starting with these almost always uncovers a good chunk of the word. Then think about the category and typical English patterns: common endings such as -ING, -ER, and -TION, double letters (LL, SS, EE, OO), and pairs like TH, CH, and SH. With a little practice, 6 lives are almost always enough.
